Who knows, but I doubt it.

Bush was up over post convention Clinton at only one point and that was in the 24 hour period after Reagan's convention address. That lasted only so long as it took the media to turn the focus on to Buchanan's "hate" speech and Perot's re-entry.

Bush was never able to regain the confidence of the people, after his four year show of diffidence or contempt. Clinton, at least, has had the chutzpah to hide his contempt behind his wall of lies.
