Thanks for the link. I used this link to compute the P/E for January 1999. It was 77. So, the P/E has risen from 77 to 117, or 52% in less than a year. Also interesting, are net income figures over this period: Jan 23,708 Feb 24,986 Mar 25,026 Apr 23,481 May 23,244 Jun 22,275 Jul 21,891 Aug 22,685 Sep 26,654 Oct 27,047 Nov 26,930 Dec 26,511 So, comparing January and December, the market value of the NAZ 100 is up 72 percent. This divides roughly into an increase of 12 percent in earnings and 52 percent in P/E multiple expansion with a remainder in increase in number of shares. Not good, in my estimation. Thanks again.
