I can't understand the shortsightedness of SUNW longs.
* DELL's new push to .com is a brand new attack on SUNW's
ASP share
* IBM's resolve take 2% market share away from SUNW is a
new resolve as of Jan 2000. How can that be old.
* COmpaq is on all out attack on SUN from desptop up to
8-way servers
* HP is on an all out attack : This may be biz. as usual.
* Intel Merced, Mckinley is leaving the stable in 2000.
* Windows 2000 is hitting market next week, yes NT was there
last year too. But the gap between SOlaris and MSFT server
software has narrowed.

WHy not buy DELL and sell the SUNW. Dell has higher rev.
growth and far lower valuation.

W2k warning from Gartner Group hits MSFT stock. Negative comments about w2k from Gartner Group and ZDnet are effecting MSFT today according to CNBC. Gartner group said be careful in deploying W2k as there are still unknowns. Bugs in Windows they must be kidding probably just more brain dead Sun lovers.<g>

Dear Steve: Well, looks as though the TECH sector may suffer some erosion over the next week or two. I suppose SUNW will suffer with the rest. this may be your best last chance to Short. Better keep it REAL SHORT though. JDN
