Thread, I suggest we have a contest for when AMD announces 1GHZ=1000MHZ.

My take is:
1GHZ=1000MHZ when AMD reports Q1'00 earnings.
.9GHZ=900MHZ when AMD preannounce Q1'00 earnings in mid March.

With regard to KX133 mobos, I suspect they will be introduced along with CPUs from Fab30.

Has somebody heard anything about socket A mobos?

Regards,

<<Having the fastest CPU on the block doesn't come without a little sacrifice. You'll find no exception here with the Athlon 850, so expect prices to be in the upper $700-$850 range. Coupled with your current PC100 or PC133 SDRAM modules though, you'll find the price of this newly hatched speed demon less than a RAM upgrade for a new i820 motherboard.>>

Dell is going to very quickly realize why their margins are getting worse.
