According to a private estimate cited in the report, it could rise from $43 billion in 1998 to $1.3 trillion in 2003. Does the tail wag the dog? When you reverse engineer from current B2B valuations then the $1.3T (revenues? Gross? Net?) are the result? Has this estimate been made by the Gartner Group?
