Walking into the broker's office may not help much either. I was in a Schawb office the afternoon of Oct. 19 to watch the fireworks. Customers were running in to sell and Schwab wouldn't take trades over the counter, so to speak. They told people to call 'em over the lobby phone. There was damn near a riot. -g- You would really have to put in GTC stops to have a prayer, but who knows what they would get filled at? If it happened fast all the systems would freeze I think.
