Autoco.com Subsidiary TheMotorPages.com Launches Proprietary - Online Tendering System for Virtual Private Dealer Network Enables Member Dealers to Purchase Vehicles from a Larger and Broader Base of Wholesale Auctions and Showrooms

MINNEAPOLIS, Feb 11, 2000 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Autoco.com, Inc. (OTC
Bulletin Board: AOOO) today announced that its TheMotorPages.com subsidiary, an
Internet portal that promotes, locates and facilitates the sales of automobiles
and automotive products, recently launched a customized online tendering system
designed for the Virtual Private Dealer Network back-end portion of
www.TheMotorPages.com.

The subsidiary explained that the online tendering system will provide members
of the Virtual Private Dealer Network with a value-added service designed to
increase the dealers' cost efficiencies by reducing the time and expense of
visiting wholesale auctions and showrooms. By enabling dealers to view wholesale
auction and showroom inventories online and submit purchase tenders through
TheMotorPages.com, the subsidiary will enable dealers to gain exposure to a
greater number of wholesale auctions and showrooms within the dealer's local
area and across state borders.

"The online tendering system is evidence of TheMotorPages.com's commitment to
deliver the premier tool for automotive dealers across the country, and is the
most significant value-added service incorporated into the portal thus far,"
commented TheMotorPages.com CEO Walter Deagle.

"The overwhelmingly positive reaction from dealers to value-added services
introduced to TheMotorPages.com over the past 12 months is very encouraging, and
supports our strategy of continuing to expand the portal's service offering. As
a result of further enhancements to the site, we believe it can surpass $13
million in average annual residual revenues from the Greater Toronto Area alone
-- with the opportunity to add another 5,000 dealers to our Virtual Private
Dealer Network through geographic expansion in the U.S.," Deagle concluded.

TheMotorPages.com and its online tendering system is currently available to
dealers, although the official launch of the portal and the subsidiary's latest
value-added service will occur in Toronto on Monday February 14, 2000. This
official launch will occur simultaneously with announcements regarding several
strategic national alliances that represent considerable advantages for
automotive dealers to maintain membership subscriptions. These strategies are
designed to assist in increasing dealer profiles and exposure as
TheMotorPages.com portal is deployed nationwide.

Autoco.com, Inc. is focused on providing innovative Internet solutions to the
automotive industry's emerging requirements for online vehicle sales, auctions,
services and parts through a network of strategically positioned subsidiaries.
