TORONTO, Feb 11, 2000 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Paradigm Advanced Technologies Inc.
("Paradigm") (OTCBB:PRAV) announced today that it has completed the various
financial filings that were overdue. These filings have been sent to the filing
agent and are scheduled to be submitted to EDGAR today. Paradigm confirms that
once the filings are submitted, the company will be current with its filings.
Paradigm accordingly expects the "E" status to be removed over the next few
days.

Paradigm is currently raising funds through the issue of shares and the
exercising of existing stock options and warrants. The company plans a larger
private placement in the near future. The funds raised will be used to finance
product development, marketing, patent licensing, operations and future
acquisitions.

The patent number listed in the release dated February 1, 2000 was stated
incorrectly. The correct Patent number is US Patent No. 5,043,736. Paradigm has
entered into a long-term agreement to be the exclusive worldwide agent for this
patent. The patent covers the process whereby signals from the satellite global
position system ("GPS") are transmitted over any cellular telephone network to a
base unit.

Paradigm Advanced Technologies Inc. (OTCBB:PRAV) of Toronto, Ontario, develops
and distributes PC-based video surveillance products. The Company's VideoBank
and Satcom products are designed to record, store and playback full motion,
