Mark,

In deference to others on this thread, this will be the last time I will respond to you.

Unfortunately you make my point. Indeed Valence was languishing for the past 7 years, and has just now 'revived' a bit. I believe it has revived for sufficient cause, and we shall see if I am correct or not.

But although Valence did indeed stumble and languish for most of the past 7 years, I - and most of the current posters on this board - did not own it for that period. I started buying in 3 years and 4 months ago. My average cost is around $ 6.00 and my weighted average holding period is around 20 months for my position. I have earned about 5.6x my investment on that stock on my total investment, which I think is a darn good return any way you calculate it. That return will dissipate if the company cannot deliver. I believe they will deliver and become a major force in the wireless power industry.

And as far as my own portfolio, it does not consist entirely of Valence, but it also has performed quite well over the past 5 years - the IRA portion is now more than 18 fold my contribution amount for an average return of about 75% per annum (pretax).

I chide you for you LVCI and MIKL not because I don't think they are fine companies, but because I am offended at the way you manage to insult almost everyone to whom you post.
I've no doubt that you have had good returns and are a successful investor - I just think you have developed a nearly total blind spot for Valence and cannot see (nor wish for in any way whatsoever) its potential for success.

May you be as right about your other investment calls as I hope you are wrong about Valence.

Good luck and so long.
