JG Cordes, I'm not saying that Dell's management has a crystal ball to foresee the future. I'm saying that Dell needs to remedy the problems that they know about. For example, a single source supplier is always a risk. A dual source reduces the risk. Any new technology always represents a risk...so, one needs to proceed with great caution when planning on using new technology. I suspect that Dell's engineers knew what they were getting into when they evaluated the Rambus technology. I can say the same for Intel's engineers. But, that's another story.
