No OS offers protection in and of itself. More likely is that there are no firewall products out there for linux based OS

JG Cordes, Win2K is NT with a new name. So, MSFT is offering Win2K and Win98, 2nd Ed. Dell loads Linux if requested. However, from your comment on the ISP's security concerns with Linux, it seems to me that Dell should tell their Linux customers to stay with Win2K (NT).

I sure would hate for Dell to get into trouble with their customers for not warning them of security issues with Linux. Could Dell lose customers over this issue?
