You're right, Bob Pisanie On CNBC just mentioned them again and said this too. He reviewed the announcement and cited positive comments then said AMD was "caught in the downdraft" and that if this had been any other day it would be faring better.

No kidding that is ridiculous...excellent day for AMD..Intel held up good as well considering it has made 5 all time highs in the last couple weeks and today was a big time profit taking day. Maybe a buying opportunity in CSCO, AMAT, TXN, MSFT, etc...Great day for GMST and NTAP though :)
