poet....check the premiums constantly during the day, looking for an aberration...usually occurs when a stock is selling down. in the case of jdsu it was moving down from 213 to 207, which caused the psychology of the put buyer to grab at anything that was offered....when the downward momentum slowed, the psychology shifted to a less then panic state...works most times with a limit order...if you get your fill in a matter of minutes, then you know your view was correct for the moment.....today we are selling off, if you believe it is not the end of the world and the whole market does not represent a falling knife then you should be bullish...as long as you allow yourself an escape route if proven wrong!
