But that can't be true, SPY told me I am 1 of the complainers and that Etrade is perfect for the other 1.95 Million customers. Hey, it took them 4 weeks to open my 2nd acct and then they sent me the letter from 3 years before. The same letter with the original acct password from 3 years ago. If that isn't a F up, I have never seen one. jim

You'll be extremely lucky if you get 100 shares of that IPO. I use E-Trade and am a shareholder. But, trying to get IPO shares from them is very difficult. Big demand, little supply. I opened a Wit Capital account for IPO allocations. They are your best chance(still very difficult). Their recent merger with Soundview will expand their share allocations four fold according to recent news articles.
