you are wrong. Volume's not too puny, either. DATE HIGH LOW CLOSE VOLUME 2/11/00 19.75 18.563 19.5 878600 2/10/00 18.75 17.375 18.25 3482500 2/9/00 22.125 18.563 18.875 4205800 2/8/00 24.375 21.063 21.344 1598400 it took over 9 million to bring the stock down from 23.5. when you examine how little volume we saw today to bring the stock up over 1 point, less than 900k, you realize today was not a heavy day. further, today at 19, many shorts again jumped in and initiated new positions only to see the stock continue to climb. either we had buying or lite covering, but not the new longs leaving.
