Brian: Thanks for the article. The author makes one fatal flaw in his thinking. He tells you to buy and hold and that trading is a losing game. He then advises on the purchase of mutual funds. I suggest he look at the turnover in some of those funds he recommends. I would betcha it is between 50% and 100% on many of those funds. So what he is really saying is to buy yourself a gunslinger and don't do it yourself. If he really believed in buy and hold, he would only have index funds on his list.
