Hi Kemble, re:<<Well let's judge what they have predicted since 96....not just this unique situation...No one is happy with this confusion...as far as being upset...I'm not...Still have full trust in this management team and have no reason to think otherwise...BTW...I really liked the tone of the CC yesterday...>>

Why judge what Dell has predicted since 96? That's all history. What counts is todays and tomorrows performance. Besides, the company today is much different than it was in 96.

I think the situation with respect to the earthquake and Y2K is very important as it shows management's control and understanding of the daily and short-term operations of the company.

What "confusion" are you referring to in your posting? I'm not sure that I understand this part of your message. Sorry.

Believe me when I say that I'm not trying to upset you nor anyone else on the thread. All I'm trying to do is sort through the events of the past several days.

I'm not questioning your trust in Dell or the management team. Trust is a very personal thing...and I fully understand you concerns.

I need to find the time to listen to the CC. I've read the press releases and all the news articles that crossed my desk, or should I say my computer screen.

I am still long and hoping that we regain the stability and growth that we know Dell can deliver.
