Tony, I guess you saw it the same way.
One thing I would also point out is that these guys are always underestimating the success of MSFT products. The sames guys who stated Windows98 and Office 97 were no big deal. They were dead wrong back then.

That comment about Linux from Dell. I am sure the big multinationals are going to stick with Windows. Would they take a chance on Linux---not at this time.
It will turn into a race to get the implementation out of way. It always happens that way in the corporate world. Consumers can be patient not executives. They will always feel that they are being left behind if they delay.

This thing is going to be huge. I was thinking of only trading MSFT. Now I have decided it is a great long term investment as well. Remember the earnings CC---they mentioned that W2K will also help the sales of their other products.

It is going to be fun with Intel and MSFT next week.

Tony <<"Much ado about nothing.">> Well,, not quite. The Gartner Group has a bunch of followers and get media attention. That is part of the reason MSFT and therefore the DOW and NAS took a hit. The techs were due for a pullback but this was fire fueled by MSFT headlines--- for a "Group" with little success they make a lot of noise...
