Petz, <Summary of systems being sold in San Diego > Thanks for the continuing updates on this topic. These small shops are taking the brunt of CuMine shortages. Most of that product is still going to tier-1 guys. Your data seems to suggest that these guys are aggressively moving to AMD. I will be really surprised if AMD ships less than 2Mu Athlons this quarter. If my estimates is right we may get ~ $1.1B in revenues (or more). We may get another update in guidance in about a month ;-)

Trends ------ Athlon penetration and speed grades continue to move up, as can be easily seen, but for Intel the percentage of stores selling anything above 600 MHz stayed constant. The world is now upside down with AMD systems the fastest in 76% of stores, equal in another 9% and Intel only winning in the four stores that don't sell AMD and one other store. Petz
