siliconinvestor.com Junk Bonds-Amazon.com leads over $1.7 bln sales
In my nut shell re-the above:

1. Amzn sold 681M convertible bond yesterday.
2. 6.875% coupon rate with a 36% conversion premium.
3. If Thursday's closing price($76 3/16) is used as the base then the conversion price is set at $103.5.
4. However, Amzn will "Lower the conversion premium" if the stock price does not do well in the next couple of years.

Thanks for your thoughtful response, libbyt. I've decided that it is impossible to know who will win so I am slowly adding bvsn, arba, vert, cmrc, allr, sebl and vign. Some are "typical" b to b and some aren't and we'll see who wins. Perhaps there will be enough to go around for everyone.
