I grew up on the south shore, don't know the north shore that well. The culture differential between the north and south shore is similar to that of N. California and S. California. Not too much mixing.

A crash is "obvious" on Monday
YHOO at a support point (look at 5pt and 10pt charts, but broke a DB on 2pt chart).
