My apologies then. Particularly since you vouch for his otherwise thoughfulness. However, it was clear, had he read all of Edwarda's posts he would have known it was not her style to plop a rumour on top of her excellent analysis.....other than to feed an element from the street into the overall equation. I too talked about rumours....fortunately, I had an article to show for it beyond my own publication. Now perhaps he could contribute a "view".... now that all of this is seemingly settled. J

Thanks for the insight, Chuzz. I know that I shouldn't have lost my temper. For an explanation I can only offer the increasing contrariness of my PC, which leads me to fear that a system crash is in the making. This baby is heading for help ASAP and every posting is fraught in the meanwhile. Furthermore, as you know, I do not post frivolous rumors in public normally. This one--that the earnings might be light--is useful in explaining why the stock was so weak today despite the rumors of a potential takeover, even if it proves unfounded in reality.
