GF.
They will always dominate in books.
Whether book margins and competition will allow it to be long term lucrative..... I have no idea....
For me,
It breaks down with Brand Extension.
It breaks down when Bezos won't say
yeah,
Toy Margins Suck.
It breaks down when Bezos won't say,
Yeah,
There is Massive Competition ahead in the Pharmacy Arena,
It breaks down,
for me,
When it becomes a Mechanism for Morgan Stanley to Unload debt by the billions and then turn around and use that debt to
Short the stock,,,
or leverage ....in whatever other ways they choose...
It breaks down for me,,,
when i see insider sales,,,,
in the Hundreds of Millions ,,,without proving profitability...
If I was a shareholder...
I would want to see ....disclosure and honesty..
I wouldn't want to see ....giggles and giddyness.
My entire thesis of this market is built around the houses buying and selling options every month....and this clouds my thinking,,,I must admit...

>>No one comes near Amazon in customer satisfaction

customer satisfaction ? the ability to walk into a posh bookstore, drag around a latte, sit on a comfy arm chair, paw all over a $ 50 book, spill a little of the latte on the book or chair by accident, check to see if any $ 10 clerks are around (they usually are gabbing), put the book back on the shelf, get another book, visit the restroom (it was a large latte), and finally, leave the store empty handed...

now thats customer satisfaction, and without even signing up for a library card.

can you get THAT online <g>
