I did ask him if any of LifeOne's employees were still with the company and mentions that there were a couple but I think he was pretty clear that former management was entirely dismissed. The trustee has hired a consulting firm in Washington, D.C., Navigant Consulting, to value the firms assets. In fact, you get them if you dial LifeOne's old number. In my previous post, I forgot to mention that, interestingly, the guy at Navigant told me that several months prior to LifeOne's bankruptcy declaration, The Southerngroup declared bankruptcy. The trustee has also assumed control of them and Navigant is also acting as a consultant in valuing their assets. It looks like former management lost everything unless they were clever in protecting themselves. It would have been nice to have been informed that the controlling shareholder had declared bankruptcy when it did instead of long after the fact.
