Jim:

Thanks for the information re ALTA. For us few novices around here, what are the next steps of the DSP? I own CMGI through Schwab, for example. Will they notify me? Or will Wit Capital? What then? Is it handled by e-mail or what? (It's a little confusing.) Thanks again.

Guy

Question. I do not own CMGI at this time but I am ready to buy on Monday. At this time, CMGI has not set a date on when you must own at least 200 shares of CMGI to particpate in the Alta Vista IPO. But I assume that if I do get in on Monday, I should qualify for the IPO (I already have a WIT account). When I asked CMGI, all I got was a very vague response. So, could someone tell me if my assumption is correct (You know what they say when you assume)?

Thanks the help.

Thanks for posting the IPO information. There is still nothing on the CMGI/ALTA or Wit web site about the offering.
I think you said we would receive a special number from the Broker that holds our shares of CMGI. Will they just send the number, or do you have to ask them for it?

BTW, I received an E-Mail from Wit Capital thanking me for funding my account. Still can't get into the trading screens on the web page. They haven't activated my password. Maybe they will Monday. Have a good weekend. Tony
