The net benefit to society is negative.. over-population, pollution, crime, corruption.. We were better off growing our own food on acres of land, free of government intervention..

Today, we live in a world full of corruption, crime and pollution.. Your "growth" factors lead to spiralling over-population lead to human decay.. Once resources are exhausted, there is no choice but to annihilate one another for the benefit of our progeny..
