You know what's interesting? The guys on the AMD thread (and a few on this thread as well) are poking fun at Intel for not being able to meed demand. I don't think they realize just how fortunate AMD is that Intel can't meet demand.

What happens if or when Intel finds its producing a lot more than it can sell? That's right, prices will drop. And once that happens, you can bet that AMD's prices will drop as well. And that's going to be murder for both companies.

Of course, the hope over there is that AMD will be so far ahead in the MHz race that they'll be immune to such pricing actions. After all, we just know that AMD is capable of releasing a 1.1 GHz processor on Tuesday if they wanted to, and in volumes I might add. I'd say hogwash, but then again, that'd be considered denial on my part. ;-)
