Tao, Perhaps I can help. First, I believe you need a RealTick III system to use scanning. Alerts still work, but scanning doesn't. I don't have RealTick and I'm hoping that Eric will support other platforms as he goes forward. Second, I tried to use ESP and got nothing but an ad bar at the top of my screen initially. Turns out that ESP doesn't like my dual-monitor setup. The trick is to catch it just as it starts up and right-click on the bar IMMEDIATELY after it starts up. Then select, "Preferences..." and click on the button to place ESP on the left sider of your screen. Then the "Alert" bar shows up. I hope this helps. Regards, Dan.

Tao: my alert bar does not work at all nothing is showing even after I click on the scan of Nastad 52 week high, nothing is showing. The ESP alerts will only be generated during market hours (9:30 AM to 4 PM EST). These alerts occur in real time, the moment the required conditions are met to generate the alert. If you log in after 4 PM or before 9:30 AM, then you will not see any alerts. However, the Pristine ESP server is usually up and running 24 hours per day. You can log in at any time to set and adjust your preferences, you desired strategies, filters, etc. You can do that anytime this weekend, for example. As for scans, as Dan mentioned, this feature inserts the list of scanned stocks into a Real Tick III market minder display. As a result, RT3 is a current requirement to use this feature. (Note that this weekend, all of the scans will be 'empty' since we shutdown and upgraded the software after the close on Friday) I hope this has clarified things for you.
