DCBEN, Speaking of Ford -

In my local paper this morning (San Diego Union-Tribune) is a column by Joanne Jacobs titled "Going online without the government." (This column apparently first appeared in the San Jose Mercury News - right next door to Sunnyvale.) The article starts off like this -

"Ford has a wired idea: The car company is giving computers, printers and Internet access to its 350,000 employers - from line workers on up - for $5 a month. Ford hopes workers will apply homebuilt Net-surfing skills to the increasingly online workplace."

Question - Did we know about this already? I don't seem to remember hearing about this before. Holy Cow!! 350,000 computers! Could it be that IDX is supplying our scanners and software for all 350,000 computers? If so, when will IDX make an announcement?

Enterprise! Ubiquity! Cowabunga!
