I agree with you. Harry Dent's books seem right on track with what the NAZ is doing. The fed does not think in terms of family life time spending patterns and what impact the baby boomers such as myself have on equity prices. That combined with the growth of the internet, fiber optics, wireless, etc. make for unusal high growth. We live in interesting times.

Rocketman: I enjoyed Dent's books... another recent one worth a read, if you haven't seen it already, is by Charles W. Kadlec, (of Seligman Advisors Inc fame). It's title is a little commercial, i.e., "Dow 100,000 Fact or Fiction" but this was a great read for me. He seems strong on strategy, presents economic history in an interesting fashion and balances, pretty well, policy issues relating to trade, taxation and monetary stability in terms of what contributes to the next 20 years or so. Also, he points out what could kill the "Great Prosperity" period ahead. Here's a link to Amazon.com's review if anyone is interested.

'Tis something to do while we wait for JW and Malloy to quit feuding... kind of tickles me to watch the action so I hope they don't stop soon... I think they are both great guys and both have a lot to contribute. Can't wait to see if JW makes an impression on Malloy... get em out on the lawn first so they don't crash into the hammock...
