Mobile phone Net access has just started, WAP is in its infancy. Current mobile PC Net access isn't fun: 9600 bps with a mobile phone linked to a laptop PCMCIA card - though I am sure you will still see many people using this method at the upcoming CeBIT: cebit.de

Once UMTS is available it will become interesting. Incidentally DG Bank has just released a report on which companies will benefit most from UMTS: WCOM, ERICY, Psion and SNRA.
