OT:

Yes, we've been looking around, found a couple of neat old houses (and I DO mean old; one was built in the mid seventeenth century) but settled on an English cottage style built in the thirties. It's in nice shape and just in from of an elementary school, so should be a good source of income/tax breaks. We've been looking to diversify from the stock market.

You have a few rental houses? Are they a lot of work?
