CFTC are as of last TUESDAY.. do NOT assume that w/ all the heavy vol last week that positions remain the same. the miners were caught a wee bit short obviously since prices rose sharply since then and failed to give it back... my guess is that they are now net long. you'll note that the goldshares were not dumped upon the release of the CFTC.
