I place people on ignore when there opinions are more personal than to the point of the thread--QCOM and the market. Name calling and personal attacks are just not needed and makes me wonder about the person who is doing the posting. I don't know whether Ed placed you on ignore or not. I know that I have not. I have placed very few on ignore but I have chosen to ignore some. I don't need to waste my time reading posts that are 3,4, 5 paragraphs long in personal attack.

You're right to some extent. Most people on this thread are very long Q and the tone of their posts will turn more optimistic when Q turns. Others are bearish on Q and rubbing it now as Q meanders.

I enjoy reading bullish and bearish posts. I particularly appreciate the posts where news flashes are displayed. I love to read other's TA analysis.

But, I prefer to ignore the personal attacks and when they become the majority of ones posts, then i prefer to ignore the poster. If that makes me ignorant, then so be it. Enjoy your martini.
