Might she have been hit over the head? If so, there'd have been "blunt trauma to the head" mentioned by the police. Considering they mentioned wounds much more horrific, like knife wounds through the head and neck, and considering they mentioned that the tip of the blade broke off in her skull, I can't see why if there were any bruises from hits to the head they would have been withheld from the media. Thus, we have to assume there most probably were none.If she had an appointment, I'd say that'd raise the odds of the murder having been committed by someone she know... Raise 'em by a lot. We've already discussed at length this possibility. In general, Suzanne never mentioned to anyone she had plans to meet anyone that night, or indeed plans that seemed to involve any person at all. So, right away, the probability of this being likely diminish. Nevertheless, if we travel down this path then either a) she was killed en route to her appointment, or b) her appointment killed her. Since no one has come forward to say Suzanne never showed up to a meeting they had planned, scenario "a" doesn't seem likely. Sure it's possible she were killed en route to a top secret meeting where the appointment didn't want to reveal himself but, again, this is very very improbable. As for scenario "b", since Suzanne not only had walked three blocks to Phelps Gate but apparently was continuing to walk after passing through it, it seems most likely that she was not expecting to be picked up by her appointment. Thus, she'd have to have walked to her appointment, then gotten into a car, then get into a quick fight, get murdered, and they get tossed where she was found. Again, possible but not probable IMO. - Jeff
