Hi, TRJ. As a reader of some of your posts on Yahoo, I'm glad we'll have the pleasure of your company on SI. Some of what we consider wars over here will seem tame to a veteran of the Yahoo threads <gg>. I hate to correct you on your first post, but you wrote, Putting things in perspective, I understand that we moved up $153 a share on December 29th. Hell, no one was happier than me. You'll be even happier to find your Q shares appreciated by $156/sh. on December 29th. Since some on this board owned thousands of shares, that $3 you left out is pretty significant <gg>. TRJ, good to see you here. Look at this service from Voicestream--called Infostream (see link below). It is their wireless data service. According to the specs, it is circuit-switched so I do not see them having an inherent cost advantage, but they are pushing it aggressively. I just saw an ad in the local paper (Austin) saying the cost is $29.95 a month for unlimited use. Meanwhile, voice service is $39.95 for 500 minutes, or 8 cents a minute. I don't think Sprint has an unlimited option. I wonder what Voicestream's strategy is--just suck up users on the price point till they hit capacity? Voicestream did their initial rollout here a few months ago.
