The article was originally from page 145 of the latest edition of Forbes ASAP. And I was wondering myself what the thread thought of it.

William,

Thanks for the post.

It's thoughts like these along with a $447 billion market cap that have me questioning CSCO's place in my portfolio.

I've been in CSCO for a couple of years and my position has increased by a factor of 5+ in that time. Now I really question how quickly CSCO can grow vs. other potential gorilla opportunities. I mean, a double will mean that this company is almost a trillion dollars in market cap.

Insane competition from the likes of LU, Nortel, and young upstarts only have me questioning CSCO more.

Great company, but is it time to slowly prune away my CSCO? Begin "feeding" some of my younger/smaller potential gorilla plays (GMST) with the proceeds?

Would be interested to hear what role CSCO plays in other GG portfolios. Decreasing in %? In your portfolio at all?

Not sure if any of you are sports fans, but I kinda feel like the Buffalo Bills waiving Bruce Smith after a gazillion pro bowls and 4 super bowls.

Gee, that may be a new one...comparing a gorilla stock to a defensive end :)
