The fact is AMD is losing 100% of the sales they would have made is they did have an SMP chipset. And they're losing 100% of the design wins they would have had. Like you said. SMP was supposed to be automatic with EV6 yet it doesn't work. Why? Seeing as AMD refuses to publish their errata list, out of shame or embarrassment or whatever, one can only speculate that there may be a bug in the processor. What is indisputable is that it was supposed to be automatic and it's still missing. EP
