Just a couple of thoughts for the thread. I am finally getting back to reading some papers )as I have plenty of time now, due to my 2 day hangover) I noticed: 1) Schwab (in the States) taking over that company from Texas that specializes in fast order execution. I am to lazy to post the news but I read it in the post. They are talking about a little higher fees for trades and minimums in the account, but all problems related to the online brokers re: order execution may be solved with this new company. Has anyone heard about that and do they have an opinion? 2) Michael Dells comments on Thursday night re: "linux is gaining steam" and MSFT's drop due to their Win 2000 launch. Do the big Linux companies have a move and will this be reflected in a later move of the TER's, LIR's and VCS.U's etc??? Maybe ones for the screen for next week. Those are the only two things that got my head out of a tizzy this weekend (and the Slam Dunk contest... Vince Carter.. WOW). Maybe Im not thinking too straight so if anyone has any thoughts please post.
