If anything is changed it would be my preference to avoiding their products in the future. The appliance dealer I have had for over 20 years says they fight with them all the time. However, some of my problem was/is the appliance dealer so it's tough to sort out the villain.
Regardless, the dealer had to wait for 3 weeks for a part then they found they needed another one and that has been over a week.
In all my six year old top of the line dishwasher would cost over $250.00 to repair for a failure of the basic washer design.
Makes one think twice about their products. I've also noticed a huge decline in the floor space of Maytag products at this dealer. This is very disappointing when I thought Maytag had a reputation for excellance. Wrong. This stock is priced right and in my opinion it will go lower.
The products at the dealer I've mentioned seem to be going towards higher quality more expensive foreign brands.
A new dishwasher I was impressed with is the Bosch. This is the old German company that now is here in the states.
I posted this only out of anger and disgust with what I felt was a ripoff. I never expected anyone to respond so I was surprised to hear from anyone here. Good Luck but I bet you'll find the stock cheaper in the future. Remember the higher interest rates will eventually slow the building industry and that should slow the appliance industry as well.
