Alex, Well, I am not a fan of West Virginia, so "please forgive me" if I have not studied up on it. as I recall, someone else has already pointed out that their contribution to WW2 became obsolete before it ever became a factor. I doubt "life or death impact" and, even so, there was not death so, I am still not interested. The only "real" contribution from WV that has made an impression on me, is Gen. Chuck Yaeger. Now there is a guy with the "right stuff". To think that our benevolent government refused to let him be and astronaut just because he didn't have a college education, still chaps my butt. He could out fly any college boy. ~H~
