kavika.. sorry for 'taking your pick'.. but I did not buy KVHI nor did I remember it from your picks. Far be it from me to criticize anyone else. I just 'recognized' my old trading style when you posted and my natural inclination was to prevent what happened to me from happening to any traders out there. You can be, and probably are, a very competent trader but I have already admitted I have lost a fair sum of money with a similar style so basically, I am speaking out a desire to help rather than chastise. And you remember that cliche "Experience is the best teacher." The market is very precarious and I have no desire to trade more than 25-35% of my trading portfolio. For me cash and puts are still king. I will probably be looking at some mid cap and global mutual funds and add to my israeli longer term mutuals but other than that I am no longer interested in making a 'killing'.. but in preserving the capital I already made these last 4 years.
