Much of what you say is true. 'If the truth was free, there wouldn't be any need for jails. If the internet was free, there wouldn't be any need for zoos.' However, don't put the consumer on trial for what the internet does. Tobacco companies tried the same route with those addicted to smoking. Since the act of shopping raises men's blood pressure, then shopping around isn't all that straightforward and the comparison to other addictions is appropriate.

Maybe you don't know the damage that a flood causes, be it man-made or natural. A lot of stuff gets ruined, but a little knowledge of conservation and preservation can restore much of what is thought to be lost by the flood. It's what is lost that could be restored (75%) that forms the injustice of a flood. If governments flood the market with gold, the those in the gold markets will eventually take care of themselves but basically in spite of what they know. That's a crime.
