MilesHigh, that was a good find. Hopefully someone it can explain it to me. Does the Hutch/ GlobalCrossing give us part of this? The whole web is so tangled that i'm not sure what Global Crossing Ltd. owns any more.

This is from the Global Marine site that i posted earlier (GBLX includes 100% of Global Marine):

Joint Ventures

Sembawang Cable Depot Pte Ltd., a
60% Singapore Telecom 40% Global Marine Systems
Ltd company
owning and operating cable depot
storage facilities in Singapore and working in
support of the SEAIOCMA maintenance
agreement.

International Cableship Pte Ltd., A Singapore
registered company with 30% share held each by
Global Marine and ASEAN Cableship Pte Ltd.
with the remaining 40% held by Singapore
Telecom.
The company was formed to acquire
two new cableships to replace the existing cable
maintenance vessels based in Singapore and
Manila.

SB Submarine Systems Ltd. (SBSS), a joint
venture between the China Ministry of Posts and
Telecommunications and of the Cable &Wireless
as a business investment. SBSS was formed in
April 1994. Global Marine is responsible for
providing management and technical training in the
installation and maintenance of submarine cables
and the operation of deep water cable ships.
