Isn't everyone a daytrader?

The investment strategy of a daytrader is to end up the day with cash; so that the next day will be another experience. The long term investors, while not end up with cash each day, would be looking at the wisdom of continuing the investment. So, the analysis would have to be the same.

Both fundamental (news released for the day) analysis and MicroTA analysis for the day has to be available, to have quality control of traceability and yield on investment, data to maximize the returns. Long term investment is merely many short term exercises. Some day, the exchanges will be liquid enough and have bandwidth suitable to maximize profits in large volume trading.

At the moment, the liquidity and the market quotes can not handle the size of some long term investors who own even less than 5% to a majority of 95% of the common stock of any company. Those mega deals still require time to find the buyers.
