OT Rental Property I can't get over how many on this thread have or did own rental property. Perhaps we should change the title of the thread to Landlords Who Trade Options. <ggg> We bought this house as a means to diversify our holdings (ie. get some money out of the market). I'm hoping it's not too much of a pain. Thanks for the advice on choosing tenants, credit checks, etc. Rick, with regard to JDSU, I'm thinking of buying some ETEK Sept calls, as it's currently trading at a 19% discount to JDSU, despite the 1:1.1 buyout figure. I understand the increased risk involved in playing the arb spread. Wondering if you, or anyone else here, has considered entry into JDSU this way.
