It looks to me like it is outsourced to FDC (or someone else) but they don't reveal the merchant fee percentage (which would imply Dell's cut). Pricing is flat (monthly, no discount for prepaying quarterly, or for 1-year, and 2-year periods), reinforcing my belief that this is a reseller deal. And it is like Intuit and others, a tag along DellShops site where you are a store on their site. It's for the market just above Hypermarket IMO.

For serious e-business the question is always Who controls the customer? Who can pinpoint advertising and cross promotions to him/her? You can go all the way down to zero if you want to give others the advertising revenue, and there are many services including Microsoft's bCentral to split the ad and affiliation revenue.
