I complete agree TM. You are just begging to get filled at a 50% premium to the market if you place a market order on a thinly traded bb stock. I trade them all the time. Better off putting a limit order at the ask or slightly higher. It is more to protect you from the market makers than any shortcomings from US Clearing.

Webstreet is a JOKE. For them to limit traders in this way is rediculous, we have every right to place a MARKET order for ANY stock. I left Webstreet a month ago for their POOR service. Get this, I closed my account on Jan 20th, AND STILL DO NOT HAVE MY $$. They told me they sent the check 3 weeks ago, a asked them a week ago to send it again, and I am still without it. They are really the WORST broker I have ever used, US Clearing is a scam too...anyone still with WebStreet is asking to get screwed.
