Craig, thank you for the SANCastle information. I skipped the white papers in a search for a product announcement, i.e. their product entry into the market.

The greatest resource on this board is the collective knowledge and effort of the posters. My everlasting gratitude goes to those who know what I do not, or can find it. All sarcasm aside.

Graci,

Douglas

>>If you're a consultant and want to close more deals, then KeyLabs' Proof-of-Concept testing is just what you need. It can show your customer the value to them of the solution you are recommending, and cause them to question competitor's proposals.<<<

Actually Keylabs has cleaned up it's web page recently and gotten away from the Lab for hire theme- mostly.

Craig -I don't know whose feathers you ruffled but I think many of us were glad to see you doing well and quite feisty
as opposed to the last time we had heard from you.

Hope you stop by once in awhile- the only reason you ruffled me a little was that I was away working in Spain and came back to more then a few hours of posts<G> when I expected far less (I guess complacency).

As far as Keylabs goes I think the tests were tainted from the beginning- Wrong switch(and where did they get it and was it fully functional) against the Silkworm -Brocade reportedly had engineers at the testing sight-It leaves open the possibility they could tweak or fix the switches where it needed tweaking or fixing. When the test results were revealed there was no mention in the text that Brocade paid for the tests. It seemed at the time Brocade sort of Cherry picked which functions to test.
It's tough to give that kind of testing much weight and we will probably never know whether the procedures had any validity at all- With those kind of procedures no wonder Brocade has refered to their keylabs tests results as controversial right before they talk about how well they did in them<G>

Best Wishes -Ed
