"In bandwidth, the ratio is 2.5 to 1. But for storage, it is actually 4 to 1, which means that for every percent we can drive down the price of storage we get a 4 percent increase in demand." Moore's Law = 1.5 to 1.0 Bandwidth = 2.5 to 1.0 Ruettgers' Law = 4.0 to 1.0 ....and that is why storage is widely projected to account for a larger and larger part of the technology purchase through economic cycles.
